Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing creative visual merchandising strategies for all designated stores in the Eastern Cape region.
- Designing and executing compelling window displays and in-store visual presentations that align with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
- Creating floor plans and store layouts to optimize product placement and customer flow.
- Sourcing and managing props, fixtures, and materials required for displays.
- Collaborating with marketing and buying teams to ensure visual merchandising supports product launches and promotions.
- Training and guiding store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.
- Monitoring inventory levels for display materials and fixtures.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of visual displays and making adjustments as needed to maximize sales impact.
- Ensuring all displays are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Staying abreast of industry trends in visual merchandising and retail design.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative visual display work.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate.
- Ability to travel within the Eastern Cape region to various store locations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
