About the Role
Our client, a leading national logistics provider, is seeking an experienced and strategic Transport Operations Manager to lead their operations in **East London, Eastern Cape**. This role is critical for overseeing all aspects of the company's transport activities within the region, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. You will manage a team of dispatchers, drivers, and maintenance personnel, optimize route planning, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

- Investigate and resolve any transport-related incidents, accidents, or customer complaints promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transport operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in transport management or logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven experience managing transport operations, preferably in **East London** or the **Eastern Cape**.
- Strong understanding of South African transport legislation and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and fleet management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is highly desirable.
