About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to supervise a team within their facility in Randburg . You will be responsible for guiding and supporting warehouse operatives, ensuring that daily tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a leader who can motivate their team, maintain high standards of productivity, and ensure the smooth operation of specific warehouse functions. You will be a key point of contact for operational issues and team performance within the Gauteng distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, and train warehouse operatives on daily tasks and procedures.
- Ensure efficient execution of picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the team's work area.
- Assist in managing inventory accuracy and stock organization within the assigned section.
- Serve as a liaison between operatives and warehouse management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment with demonstrated leadership or supervisory capabilities.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and task management.
