About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly capable Site Operations Manager to oversee operations at their facility in Randburg. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of all site activities, including maintenance, security, and facility services. You will lead a diverse team, manage vendor relationships, and implement strategies to optimize site performance and uphold the company's standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of site management in a complex operational environment within Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all on-site operational activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and operational upkeep of the site facilities and equipment.
- Manage security protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Develop and manage site-specific budgets, controlling expenditures effectively.
- Lead and motivate site operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in site or facility management, or a similar operations leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, safety regulations, and security management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within the Randburg or wider Gauteng industrial sector is advantageous.
