Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed performance analysis of existing and proposed solar power systems.
- Develop and refine financial models to assess project economics, including ROI, NPV, and IRR.
- Perform site feasibility studies and resource assessments for solar projects.
- Analyze market trends, policy changes, and regulatory impacts on solar energy development.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, and finance teams to support project lifecycles.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of solar assets post-commissioning.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and cost reduction.
- Stay current with advancements in solar technology, energy storage, and grid integration.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of analytical tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in solar energy project analysis, financial modeling, or energy consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV technologies, system design, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling software and techniques (e.g., Excel, Python, specialized financial tools).
- Strong understanding of energy markets, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with energy modeling software (e.g., PVsyst, SAM) is a plus.
