About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives in Randburg . This role involves managing complex IT projects, including enterprise-wide system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation programs. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving successful technology adoption across the organization in Gauteng . The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in IT project leadership and a deep understanding of current technology trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of large-scale IT projects.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management , with a significant portion in senior or lead roles.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary IT projects, including ERP, CRM, or cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Randburg and collaborate with dispersed teams.
