About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Data Scientist to spearhead their advanced analytics initiatives, operating remotely with a focus on their Oil & Gas operations.
This role is pivotal in leveraging vast datasets to drive operational efficiencies, enhance exploration success, and optimize production through predictive modeling and machine learning.
You will work with large, complex datasets from seismic, drilling, production, and financial streams to uncover actionable insights and develop data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems in exploration, production, and operations.
- Clean, process, and analyze large, diverse datasets from various sources within the oil and gas value chain .
- Build predictive models for equipment failure, production optimization, reservoir performance, and market trends.
- Design and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven solutions.

Requirements
