About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Remote Real Estate Acquisitions Manager to identify and secure investment opportunities across South Africa. This role is vital for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating the acquisition of properties that align with the company's investment strategy. You will conduct thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and market research to ensure profitable acquisitions. The ideal candidate thrives in an independent, remote setting, possesses strong negotiation skills, and has a proven ability to identify and execute high-value real estate deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Source potential real estate acquisition opportunities through various channels, including networking and market analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target properties, including legal, financial, and physical inspections.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including pro forma projections, ROI calculations, and risk assessments.
- Negotiate purchase agreements and terms with property sellers and their representatives.
- Prepare investment memos and present acquisition proposals to the investment committee.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, sellers, and other industry contacts to generate deal flow.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or investment analysis.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and closing real estate deals.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of the South African property market and legal frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
