About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Remote Aviation Project Manager to lead and execute key aviation projects from anywhere in the world. This role involves overseeing projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and resources, leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and the aviation industry. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for aviation-related initiatives.
- Manage project execution, monitor progress, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication across geographically dispersed members.
- Ensure all projects adhere to aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Regularly report on project status, milestones, and performance to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically within the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, including P&L responsibility.
- Strong understanding of aviation operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, suitable for a remote leadership role.
