Key Responsibilities

- Investigate safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor adherence to all applicable aviation regulations, including those set by local authorities (e.g., SACAA) and international bodies (e.g., ICAO).
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees across various departments.
- Maintain comprehensive safety records and documentation.
- Prepare reports on safety performance, compliance status, and audit findings for management.
- Stay updated on changes in aviation safety regulations and best practices.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in aviation safety or quality management are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety, compliance, or quality assurance roles.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management systems (SMS), and risk management principles.
- Experience in conducting safety audits and incident investigations.
