About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to lead their QC team at their facility in Randburg . You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality assurance processes, ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent standards and customer expectations. This role involves managing a team of quality inspectors, conducting audits, and collaborating with production and engineering departments to address quality issues. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining and enhancing the company's reputation for producing high-quality goods in the Gauteng region.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the quality control team, providing training and performance feedback.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Investigate quality complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality considerations into all stages of the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Quality Control supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and quality standards .
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
