About the Role
Our client, a leading real estate and legal services provider in Randburg , is seeking an expert Property Law Specialist . This role is critical for managing all legal aspects of property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects. You will provide expert advice to clients and internal teams, ensuring all legal requirements are met and transactions are executed smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of property law and a strong track record in managing complex property deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute all legal aspects of property transactions, including sales, leases, and financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate property contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
- Provide legal counsel on zoning, land use, environmental regulations, and property development.
- Conduct title searches, due diligence, and advise on property-related risks.
- Represent clients in property disputes and litigation matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations in South Africa.
Requirements
- Admitted Attorney with a specialization in Property Law .
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in property law practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of conveyancing, sectional title schemes, and commercial leases.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills for property-related contracts.
- Proven ability to manage complex property portfolios and transactions.
- Excellent client service and relationship management skills.
