Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and timely submission of filings.
- Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
- Calculate and process deductions for benefits, garnishments, and other items.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Generate payroll reports for management and relevant departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll software (e. g., Sage VIP , Pay Space ) and relevant legislation.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and deductions.
- Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail.
