About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lecturer in Business Studies to join their academic team in Randburg . This position involves delivering high-quality instruction to students pursuing business-related qualifications, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for successful careers in the industry. You will contribute to curriculum development, student support, and the overall academic excellence of the institution, operating within a hybrid model that combines on-campus and remote teaching responsibilities within the bustling economic hub of Gauteng .
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials on a range of Business Studies topics, including management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment strategies to ensure relevance and rigor.
- Assess student work through examinations, assignments, presentations, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Mentor and advise students, offering academic guidance and support throughout their studies.
- Contribute to departmental activities, curriculum reviews, and faculty meetings.
- Stay abreast of current industry trends and incorporate them into teaching content.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related business discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in teaching Business Studies at the tertiary level.
- Strong understanding of core business principles and contemporary business practices.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach effectively in both face-to-face and online/hybrid environments.
