About the Role
Our client, a cutting-edge aesthetic and dermatology clinic in Randburg , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Medical Aesthetician & Advanced Skincare Therapist . This role is integral to providing high-level, results-driven skincare treatments. The Lead Aesthetician will perform advanced facials, chemical peels, micro-needling, and operate sophisticated aesthetic devices for skin rejuvenation, acne management, and anti-aging. You will also be responsible for client consultations, creating personalized treatment plans, and ensuring the highest standards of client care and safety. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of dermatological principles, a passion for continuous learning, and excellent client management skills. Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed skin assessments and consultations to identify client concerns and develop bespoke treatment strategies. Perform advanced medical-grade facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and microneedling procedures. Operate and manage various aesthetic equipment such as LED light therapy, radiofrequency devices, and ultrasound machines. Educate clients on proper skincare routines, product recommendations, and the benefits of various treatments. Maintain meticulous client records, including treatment details, progress notes, and before/after photos. Ensure compliance with all clinic protocols, hygiene standards, and safety regulations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in skincare, ingredients, and aesthetic technology. Assist dermatologists or senior staff with specific procedures as required. Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service, empathy, and consistent results. Contribute to team training and knowledge sharing within the aesthetic department.
Requirements
Certified Esthetician qualification with specialized training in advanced skincare therapies. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Medical Aesthetician or equivalent. Proven expertise in performing advanced facial treatments, peels, and skin rejuvenation modalities. Proficiency with a range of medical aesthetic devices and technologies. Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and common dermatological conditions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultation skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in Randburg . A meticulous approach to treatment delivery and client care. Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards. Passion for the aesthetic industry and delivering outstanding results.
