Our client, a premier IT recruitment consultancy located in Randburg , Gauteng , is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead IT Recruitment Consultant . This senior role is responsible for leading a team of IT recruiters, driving business development initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality recruitment solutions to clients in the technology sector. You will leverage your extensive expertise in IT recruitment and team management to foster a high-performance culture and expand our client's reach within the competitive Gauteng technology market. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of IT roles, and a passion for connecting talent with opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT recruitment consultants, setting performance targets and providing guidance.
- Drive new business development within the IT sector, securing high-value client contracts.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for critical IT roles, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet client demands and market opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition strategies.
- Conduct market analysis and provide insights on IT talent trends to clients and the internal team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT recruitment , with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Proven track record of success in business development and managing key client accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of the IT landscape, including various technologies, programming languages, and IT roles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
