About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled In-House Counsel with a specialization in Contracts to join their dedicated legal team. This position operates on a fully remote basis, supporting a dynamic business environment headquartered near Randburg . You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements, ensuring legal compliance and protecting the company's interests. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supplier contracts, and licensing agreements.
- Provide expert legal advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand contract requirements and ensure alignment with company strategy.
- Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution and renewal.
Requirements
- Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience focused on contract law .
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of relevant commercial laws and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and risk mitigation.
- Ability to manage a high workload and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
