About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to all relevant labor laws and regulations within their Randburg operations. This critical role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring HR policies and procedures to maintain a compliant and ethical workplace. You will stay abreast of legislative changes, conduct compliance audits, and provide guidance to management and staff on compliance matters. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of legal frameworks and a commitment to upholding organizational integrity in Randburg .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Manage and respond to inquiries from labor authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and managers on compliance-related topics.
- Investigate and address compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and documentation.
Requirements
- Law degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, labor law, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, and BBBEE.
- Experience with conducting compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
