About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gym Manager to lead their fitness facility in the bustling Randburg area. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, driving membership sales, and ensuring exceptional member satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the gym, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
- Lead, train, and motivate the gym staff, including trainers, sales consultants, and front desk personnel.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve membership sales targets and retention goals.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and member satisfaction, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee inventory management, vendor relations, and budget control for the facility.
- Implement and enforce gym policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a management role within the fitness industry, preferably as a Gym Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Demonstrated success in sales, membership growth, and staff management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of fitness operations, equipment, and industry trends.
- Ability to develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies.
- Proficiency in gym management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
