About the Role
Our client is searching for an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee their diverse vehicle fleet in Randburg. This role requires a strategic approach to managing vehicle maintenance, driver performance, compliance, and operational costs. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of all transportation operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Monitor driver performance, conduct training, and enforce company policies.
- Control operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and licensing requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Fleet Management or a senior logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, and transport operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and systems.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
- Familiarity with the Gauteng transportation landscape is preferred.
