About the Role
Our client is looking for enthusiastic and certified Fitness Instructors to lead dynamic group fitness classes at their state-of-the-art facility in Randburg . You will be responsible for creating and delivering motivating workout experiences that cater to a diverse range of fitness levels and goals. This role requires energy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting health and wellness within the local community, with opportunities for both in-person and potentially online hybrid delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and safe group fitness classes (e.g., Yoga, HIIT, Spin, Strength Training).
- Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for all class attendees.
- Maintain knowledge of current fitness trends and best practices to enhance class offerings.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly, and maintain cleanliness of the studio space.
- Build rapport with members, encouraging regular participation and providing basic fitness advice.
Requirements
- Nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, Les Mills).
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Previous experience instructing group fitness classes is essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to create dynamic and effective workout routines.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
