Our client, a dynamic production house in the Arts & Entertainment sector, is seeking a skilled and creative Film Editor for a fully remote position based in Randburg .
You will be responsible for assembling raw footage into compelling narratives for various film and video projects, from documentaries to promotional content.
This role requires a keen eye for pacing, storytelling, and a deep understanding of editing software.
You will collaborate closely with directors and producers to shape the final vision of each project, delivering high-quality content that engages audiences nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished films, commercials, and other video content, adhering to creative briefs and deadlines.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to interpret creative vision and refine storytelling through editing.
- Select and assemble the most effective shots, dialogue, and sound for a seamless narrative flow.
- Perform color correction, sound mixing, and add visual effects as needed to enhance the final product.
- Manage project assets and maintain an organized editing workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Film Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
