About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong focus on e-commerce to join their team based remotely, supporting operations in Randburg. You will work on SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, and content optimisation to ensure our digital strategies are effective and impactful. Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
- Plan, implement and monitor paid advertising campaigns (SEM/PPC) across platforms like Google Ads and social media.
- Develop and manage social media content and engagement strategies to build brand awareness and drive traffic to the e-commerce site.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails and automated workflows.
- Analyse website performance, campaign results and customer behaviour using analytics tools to identify areas for optimisation.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure a consistent brand message and user experience across all digital touchpoints.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a significant focus on e-commerce.
- Proven experience with SEO, SEM, social media marketing and email marketing tools.
- Proficiency in using web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics) to track and report on key metrics.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and their role in driving traffic and conversions.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.
