About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join their technology strategy team in Randburg . In this role, you will be responsible for designing and defining the architecture for AI-powered solutions that address complex business challenges. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into robust, scalable, and cost-effective AI systems. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in AI/ML, combined with excellent communication and strategic thinking skills. Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architectures for AI and machine learning solutions, considering scalability, performance, and security.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs for AI initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI/ML technologies, platforms, and tools for specific use cases.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of designed architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on AI best practices and emerging trends.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, cloud architecture, or data science, with a significant focus on AI/ML.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and platforms (e.g., cloud AI services, ML frameworks).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI offerings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills.
