About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team remotely.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper coding and approval of all invoices before payment.
- Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (EFT, cheques, etc.).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all AP documents.
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of AP processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills for remote work.
