About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative 3D Artist & Animator to join their cutting-edge creative department in Randburg . This role is essential for bringing digital concepts to life through stunning 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation for various projects, including marketing materials, virtual environments, and product visualizations. You will work in a collaborative hybrid environment, contributing your technical expertise and artistic flair to elevate the company's visual output. Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for characters, environments, and props.
- Develop engaging animations, including character animation, object animation, and motion graphics.
- Apply realistic or stylized lighting and rendering techniques to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
- Collaborate with the creative team to interpret project briefs and translate 2D concepts into 3D assets.
- Optimize 3D assets for performance in real-time applications and various rendering pipelines.
- Stay current with advancements in 3D software, techniques, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a 3D Artist and Animator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or ZBrush.
- Experience with texturing tools like Substance Painter and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of rendering engines and techniques (e.g., V-Ray, Arnold, Unreal Engine).
- Strong understanding of animation principles, cinematography, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting in Randburg .
