Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of comprehensive telecommunications network architectures.
• Develop strategic plans for network evolution, incorporating new technologies and solutions.
• Ensure network designs are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to translate requirements into architectural designs.
• Evaluate and recommend new network technologies, hardware, and software.
• Develop and maintain detailed architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to design principles.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks and dependencies.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance optimization strategies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking, MPLS, BGP, routing, switching, and security protocols.
• Experience with wireless technologies (4G, 5G) and fixed-line network architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and virtualization (NFV/SDN).
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, complex network solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects in a remote environment.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE) are highly desirable.
