About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and external stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on project engineering and management.
- Proven experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, wind turbines, or hydropower technologies.
- Strong understanding of grid integration, power systems, and energy storage solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant design and simulation software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, ETAP).
- Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with South African energy regulations and standards is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Eastern Cape region as needed.
