About the Role
Our client, a leading digital health platform committed to revolutionizing preventative care through personalized nutrition, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Nutritionist & Dietitian for a fully remote position. This role is crucial in providing expert nutritional counseling, developing evidence-based dietary plans, and guiding clients towards sustainable health improvements. You will work with a diverse clientele, addressing various health conditions and lifestyle goals through expert dietary interventions. The platform utilizes advanced technology to deliver virtual consultations and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and client interviews via secure video conferencing.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based nutrition and dietary plans for clients with diverse health needs (e.g., weight management, chronic disease, sports nutrition).
- Provide ongoing nutritional counseling and support, monitoring client progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and food choices to support their goals.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Create engaging educational content, such as articles, webinars, or recipes, for the platform's users.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in remote nutrition practice.
- Mentor junior dietitians or nutritionists within the organization as required.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent credential from a recognized professional body.
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in nutrition counseling and dietetics.
- Proven expertise in managing various dietary interventions for different health conditions.
- Exceptional virtual communication, interpersonal, and client coaching skills.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and nutritional analysis software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to nutritional challenges.
- Ability to work independently, manage a demanding caseload, and adhere to deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
