This role is essential for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of high-quality broadcast content, including live shows, pre-recorded programs, and digital media segments. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of broadcast operations, project management, and content creation workflows. As a remote-first team member, you will leverage advanced communication and project management tools to collaborate effectively with talent, crew, and stakeholders located across different regions, while ideally bringing insights from their work with teams connected to East London, Eastern Cape . We are looking for a highly organized, adaptable, and proactive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, and maintain exceptional production standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of broadcast production, from pre-production planning to post-production and delivery.
- Develop production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with talent, directors, camera crews, technical staff, and other production personnel remotely.
- Oversee the content creation process, ensuring alignment with broadcast objectives and quality standards.
- Manage live broadcasts, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring smooth execution.
- Supervise post-production editing, graphics, and sound mixing processes.
- Liaise with network executives, advertisers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations and company policies.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across all project teams, regardless of location.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in broadcast production, with a proven track record of producing successful television or digital content.
- Strong understanding of studio and field production techniques, live broadcasting, and post-production workflows.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Proficiency with project management software and remote collaboration tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide production teams remotely.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure in live broadcast situations.
- Experience with various broadcast equipment and technologies.
- Familiarity with different content formats and audience engagement strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Film Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
