Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultations and personalized recommendations to clients across skincare, makeup, and fragrance categories.
- Conduct product demonstrations and makeup applications.
- Drive sales performance by building strong client relationships and exceeding sales targets.
- Train and mentor junior beauty consultants on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all product lines, ingredients, and brand philosophies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product launches.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to ensure an attractive store presentation.
- Organize and execute in-store events, promotions, and client engagement activities.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with store management on sales strategies and performance analysis, potentially remotely.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in beauty retail, preferably with a luxury or premium brand.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and excellent customer service skills.
- Extensive knowledge of skincare, makeup, and fragrance products and application techniques.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in training or mentoring junior staff is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a flair for customer engagement.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be based in or able to commute to East London, Eastern Cape .
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools for reporting and planning is a plus.
