Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD and BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).

- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with design intent.
- Prepare technical reports, tender documents, and construction phase information.
- Ensure all architectural work complies with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Manage and mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Liaise directly with clients to present design proposals and technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and construction phases.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field (e.g., National Diploma in Architectural Technology, B.Tech Architecture).
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural practice, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse project types.
- Proficiency in industry-standard BIM and CAD software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of South African building regulations, National Building Regulations (NBR), and SANS standards.
- Proven ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation and construction details.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in managing project documentation and workflows.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits within the East London area and surrounding regions.
