Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Operations Coordinator to support their store network in and around East London . This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of retail operations, from managing stock and supplies to coordinating store maintenance and implementing operational improvements. You will work closely with store managers and the regional operations team to uphold company standards and enhance the overall retail environment. This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site engagement and remote administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and efficient ordering processes.
- Coordinate store maintenance, repairs, and facility-related services.
- Support the implementation of new operational procedures and policies across stores.
- Prepare operational reports and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for store efficiency.
- Liaise between store teams and head office departments for operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within retail spaces.
Requirements
- Experience in retail operations , administration, or a related field is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model .
- Familiarity with inventory management and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
