About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Project Manager - Software Development to lead their agile software development initiatives from anywhere. You will work with distributed engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration, streamline processes, and drive innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from initiation to deployment and maintenance.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for remote teams.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, product managers, and designers to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Track project progress, identify dependencies, and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders through various remote channels.
- Maintain project documentation, including backlogs, sprint reports, and release plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager , with a strong focus on software development projects .
- Proven experience managing projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies in a remote setting.
- Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and common technologies.
- Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills for a remote workforce.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
