About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap.

- Oversee all aspects of software development, product architecture, and technical operations.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the company's technology platform.
- Drive research and development in cutting-edge technologies, particularly AI and Machine Learning.
- Manage the technology budget and make strategic investment decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team on business strategy and product development.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and vendors.
- Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record as a CTO or VP of Engineering in a startup environment.
- Extensive experience in AI/Machine Learning, software architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling technology products and teams.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing remote engineering teams effectively.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing technology budgets.
- This is a fully remote position, though candidates with ties to the East London area will find it convenient for occasional regional meetups or strategic sessions.
