About the Role
Our client, a pioneering telehealth platform focused on dermatology & aesthetic services, is seeking a Certified Medical Esthetician & Virtual Skin Coach. This position is fully remote, enabling you to provide expert skincare consultations and guidance from your home office. You will conduct virtual assessments of clients' skin conditions, recommend personalized treatment plans, and guide them through skincare routines using prescribed products. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in medical esthetics, a deep understanding of various skin concerns (acne, aging, hyperpigmentation), and exceptional virtual communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual skin assessments using client-provided photos and detailed questionnaires.
- Provide personalized skincare recommendations and treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Educate clients on proper skincare techniques, ingredient functions, and product usage.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed through virtual follow-ups.
- Collaborate with consulting dermatologists and physicians on complex cases.
- Develop educational content on skincare topics for the platform's user base.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology, medical esthetics, and skincare technologies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records within the platform's secure system.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide ongoing support in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Medical Esthetician (e.g., Esthetician License with advanced training or a dedicated Medical Esthetician program).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical esthetics or medical spa settings.
- Demonstrable knowledge of common skin conditions (acne, rosacea, eczema, aging skin, pigmentation disorders) and their treatments.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to skincare.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.
