About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Reliability Engineer to join their team in East London . This role is focused on enhancing the reliability, availability, and maintainability of mechanical systems and equipment. You will analyze failure data, conduct root cause analyses, and implement strategies to prevent equipment downtime and optimize maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs and strategies.
- Analyze equipment failure data, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) , and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop predictive maintenance schedules and utilize condition monitoring technologies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Assess the reliability of new equipment and systems during the design and procurement phases.
- Track key reliability metrics and provide reports on equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance engineering.
- Strong knowledge of reliability analysis techniques (e.g., FMEA, FTA).
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis and thermography.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
