About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Team Lead to guide their production team in East London . You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific production line or team, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely. This hybrid role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive team environment while driving performance and adhering to quality and safety standards, balancing on-site leadership with remote administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of production staff to achieve daily production goals.
- Monitor production output, quality, and safety performance of the team.
- Ensure all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing issues and resolving conflicts.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resource allocation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Team Lead or supervisor in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Good understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to manage tasks both on-site and remotely as required by the role.
