About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager specializing in Events & Sponsorships to drive brand awareness and engagement in East London. This role involves conceptualizing, planning, and executing impactful marketing campaigns centered around key events and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for managing event logistics, negotiating sponsorship agreements, and measuring the success of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented marketer with a strong understanding of event management and sponsorship strategies, passionate about creating memorable brand experiences and fostering strong relationships within the community and with key partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for company events and sponsorship activities.
- Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage sponsorship agreements with key partners to maximize brand visibility and ROI.
- Create compelling marketing collateral and promotional materials for events and sponsorships.
- Analyze campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports on effectiveness and ROI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a significant focus on event management and sponsorship acquisition.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing marketing campaigns and events.
- Strong negotiation, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM software.
