Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and modifications on composite aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and control surfaces.
- Utilize techniques such as laminating, bonding, and patching with various composite materials.
- Read and interpret composite repair manuals, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct inspections of composite components to identify damage, delamination, or defects.
- Ensure all composite repairs meet stringent airworthiness and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Composite Technician .
- Knowledge of composite materials (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass) and repair processes.
- Ability to interpret composite repair specifications and engineering drawings.
- Experience with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods for composites is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for intricate repair work.
