About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in Construction to manage significant projects in East London . This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, site management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead project teams, oversee all phases of construction, and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. This is a critical on-site role for a seasoned professional looking to make a substantial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from conception, planning, and procurement through to execution and closeout.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks that may impact project timelines or budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management , with a proven track record of large-scale project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes .
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional accreditation such as Pr CPM or PMP is highly advantageous.
