About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and influential Senior HR Business Partner to drive HR initiatives within their key business units in East London . This role demands a deep understanding of business strategy and the ability to translate it into effective people solutions. You will partner closely with senior leadership to address talent management, organizational development, change management, and employee relations challenges. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong track record of delivering impactful HR strategies in the Eastern Cape region. This is a critical on-site role for an experienced HR leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all people-related matters, aligning HR strategy with business objectives.
- Lead and execute talent management strategies, including succession planning and workforce development.
- Provide expert guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Drive organizational design and change management initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improving organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in strategic HR roles, including extensive experience as an HR Business Partner .
- Proven expertise in talent management, organizational development, and change leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience working with senior executives and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
