About the Role
Our client in East London is seeking a skilled and analytical HRIS Analyst to manage and enhance their Human Resources Information System. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and security of employee data, as well as supporting HR reporting and analytics needs. You will work closely with the HR team and IT to optimize system functionality, implement new features, and provide training to users. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude, excellent data management skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support the HRIS platform, ensuring data integrity and system uptime.
- Develop and generate regular HR reports and dashboards for management and departmental needs.
- Identify opportunities to leverage HRIS technology to improve HR processes and efficiency.
- Configure and test system changes, updates, and new modules prior to deployment.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and employees on HRIS usage.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role with a strong technical focus.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday) and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
