About the Role
Our client is seeking a bright and motivated Graduate Chemical Engineer to join their Process Improvement team in East London . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent graduates to build a foundational career in chemical engineering. You will support experienced engineers in analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Your contribution will be key to optimizing operations within our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in collecting and analyzing process data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
- Participate in process hazard analyses (PHAs) and safety reviews.
- Help develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of process issues under supervision.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- A strong academic record with a foundational understanding of chemical engineering principles .
- Basic knowledge of process simulation software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in a manufacturing environment in East London .
