About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Acupuncturist to provide therapeutic treatments at their wellness center in East London. This role is suited for a practitioner with a deep understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and a proven ability to apply acupuncture effectively for a variety of health conditions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering compassionate care to clients seeking natural healing solutions. This role offers flexibility and the potential for remote patient follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments based on TCM diagnostic methods.
- Develop and implement individualized acupuncture treatment plans for various health issues.
- Administer acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and other TCM therapies safely and effectively.
- Educate patients on TCM principles, lifestyle recommendations, and self-care practices.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, tracking progress and outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and ethical guidelines in acupuncture practice.
Requirements
- A recognized degree or diploma in Acupuncture and/or Traditional Chinese Medicine.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed Acupuncturist.
- Proficiency in various needling techniques and TCM diagnostic methods.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and meridians.
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and patient rapport-building skills.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and conduct remote patient follow-up consultations.
