About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical E-commerce Performance Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decision-making across all facets of the e-commerce business, from marketing campaigns and website optimization to customer behavior analysis and sales forecasting. You will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets, identifying key trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance performance and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, conversion funnels, and sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the e-commerce environment.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing, sales, and website performance.
- Conduct A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for optimizing website elements, marketing campaigns, and user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to provide data-driven insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor competitor performance and market trends, translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Assist in sales forecasting, budget planning, and performance benchmarking based on historical data and predictive analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on e-commerce analytics.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python/R.
- Experience in creating and interpreting performance reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
