About the Role
Our client is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Apprentice HVAC Technicians in East London . This program offers comprehensive training in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential clients. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning to diagnose issues, perform necessary repairs, and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in mechanical and electrical systems, a strong problem-solving aptitude, and a dedication to building a successful career in the HVAC trade, contributing to client comfort and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems, including ductwork and unit placement.
- Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, cleaning coils, and checking refrigerant levels.
- Help diagnose system malfunctions and identify components needing repair or replacement.
- Conduct system checks and tests under supervision to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure tools and equipment are well-cared for.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to industry best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for technical or science subjects.
- Basic understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles.
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and commit to the apprenticeship program.
