IT Centre Europe (ITCE) oversees and manages the secure operations of IT applications and front-end systems used in all Bank of China (BOC) branches and representative offices located within Europe and Africa. The IT Risk and Compliance team within ITCE is primarily responsible for managing IT risks and compliance within the ITCE and EMEA institutions. As an IT Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will ensure the effective implementation of ITCE-related risk management and regulatory compliance requirements in alignment with the Bank’s risk and compliance governance framework. This is a full-time permanent position.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report IT and relevant risks of ITCE under the Bank’s governance framework
- Coordinate Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and produce regular management reports
- Ensure alignment with Head Office’s IT governance requirements and branch’s regulatory expectations
- Support regulatory inspections, reviews, and compliance assessments of ITCE
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities relating to ITCE
- Track audit findings and ensure timely remediation closure
- Communicate IT risk and compliance matters effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Degree educated in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other relevant subject
- Experience in IT Risk, IT Audit, IT Governance, IT Compliance, or Information Security within Financial Services, ideally Banking
- Experience with managing IT control frameworks and standards
- Experience managing audit and regulatory engagements is a plus
- Knowledge of Banking products and services is a plus
- Excellent communication skills

- Team player who is able to work independently
