We're working with a fast-growing mobile games studio who are seeking a Vice President of Business Performance to lead the strategic and commercial direction of their games. This is a senior leadership role for a data-driven, product-savvy executive who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
You will sit at the heart of the business - overseeing performance across live titles, informing product strategy, and partnering with leadership across product, data science, user acquisition, and monetisation. Your insights and direction will help shape the future of our games and the overall growth trajectory of the studio.
OverviewAs VP of Business Performance, you will be responsible for building and scaling a function that turns data into strategic action. You’ll own core performance KPIs, lead a high-impact team, and act as a key voice in executive discussions around growth, investment, and roadmap prioritisation.
Responsibilities:- Lead the business performance function across all live and upcoming games
- Own performance forecasting, reporting, and deep-dive analytics across monetisation, engagement, and retention
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership on roadmap, investment, and game operations
- Partner closely with Product, Data, UA, and Monetisation to define goals and drive accountability across teams
- Guide the design and analysis of A/B tests and product experiments
- Shape commercial strategy for soft launches, live ops, and long-term game lifecycle
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and performance managers
- Champion a data-informed culture across the studio, improving decision-making at every level
- 6+ years of experience in a performance, product, strategy, or analytics leadership role in mobile gaming
- Extensive knowledge of IAP and IAA
- Direct line managing of teams in data, product and monetization
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive measurable business impact
- Deep fluency in game KPIs and growth levers: LTV, ARPU, retention, churn, UA efficiency, etc.
- Exceptional analytical skills - strong command of SQL and business intelligence tools
- Experience leading performance in a high-scale mobile F2P environment
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to dive into complex data when needed
- Understanding of ad monetisation and user acquisition at scale
- Prior experience supporting investor, board, or M&A discussions through commercial insight
