Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with an internationally renowned retailer to find a dynamic Sustainability Manager to join their team based at their Head Office in London.
Salary - up to £70k
The Sustainability Manager will spearhead the development and implementation of green policies and initiatives, with a focus on ensuring the long-term sustainability of resources for future generations.
Duties of the Sustainability Manager include:
- Measure the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from operations and supply chain.
- Assess the sustainability practices of suppliers and ensure transparency throughout the supply chain.
- Evaluate energy consumption and deficiency across all businesses.
- Develop and implement environmentally conscious practices.
- Understand the environmental impact of the business and put in place measures to reduce year on year.
- Evaluating suppliers, monitoring supply chain and promoting fair trade practices.
We are keen to speak with Sustainability Managers with the following:
- Degree in either Energy Management, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence and secure buy-in.
- A depth of knowledge and passion for sustainability, with subject matter expertise in a range of environmental areas including Net Zero pathways and Waste & Circularity.
- Demonstrable experience of leading sustainability change in complex environments.
